Advancing Performance Improvement in the Age of COVID-19

This webinar, hosted by the Public Health Performance Improvement Network (PHPin) and the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials (ASTHO) will highlight the relevance of performance improvement (PI) as health departments manage the pandemic response in their communities by creating a forum for PI professionals and health department staff to discuss how to continue this work in the age of COVID-19. We will hear from Ken Komatsu from the Arizona Department of Health Services and Nicole Morley from the Indiana State Department of Health, who will discuss some of the ways that their state health department has continued and modified their performance improvement work to address new community needs. This brief presentation will be followed by a facilitated discussion about how PI work has changed over the last few months, including both challenges and successes.
