Date: Thursday, January 21, 2021
Time: 3:30 – 5:00 PM Eastern Time
Please join this webinar presented by the National Congress of American Indians. During Inauguration week, Indian Country will be introduced to two new federal partners: the 117th Congress and the Biden-Harris Administration. In the 116th Congress, tribal priorities were included in a range of bills and Indian Country collectively secured over 13 billion in tribal relief in two COVID-19 relief packages. Tribal nations, again, seek to rigorously advocate for tribal needs in Congress’ early legislative work. In support of this effort, this webinar will provide an overview of the early legislative priorities of the 117th Congress and the Biden-Harris Administration and educate attendees on how they can strategically advance tribal priorities in anticipated fast moving legislation.
